Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro Leaks: Features and Specs
Published: June 25, 2025 | Category: News
Leaked specifications for the Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro suggest a major redesign: dual drivers (woofer + tweeter), 50dB ANC, and Samsung’s new Scalable Codec for lossless audio on Galaxy phones. Expected price: $249. Expected release: August 2025. Here’s what we know so far and how it compares to the competition.
Dual Driver Design
The Buds4 Pro uses a 10mm woofer + 6.2mm tweeter configuration (similar to the Sony WF-1000XM5’s dual driver approach). This separates low and high frequencies, improving clarity and detail. The woofer handles 20Hz-2kHz, the tweeter handles 2kHz-40kHz. Result: bass is tight and controlled, treble is detailed without sibilance. This is a significant upgrade from the Buds3’s single 10mm driver.
50dB ANC and Scalable Codec
Samsung claims 50dB of ANC — the highest in any earbud. This would surpass the Sony WF-1000XM5’s 42dB and the AirPods Pro 2’s 38dB. The Scalable Codec delivers up to 24-bit/96kHz audio on Galaxy phones — true hi-res wireless audio. On non-Samsung phones, it falls back to AAC (256kbps). Battery: 8 hours per charge + 28 hours case. IPX7 water resistance. Weight: 5.2g per bud.
My Take
Here’s my take: if the leaks are accurate, the Galaxy Buds4 Pro will be the best Android earbud on the market. The 50dB ANC and dual driver design are class-leading. The Scalable Codec makes them the best choice for Galaxy phone users. Wait for the August release — if the specs hold, these will be the earbuds to beat in 2025.
